XT is right. Hockey is a very underappreciated sport. Well, in America at least.

Great read, HTG. I wish they were dropping the puck right now, because I'm ready!
I forget his name but I wonder if the guy from the Cryers who took the puck in the face and then missed the rest of the series was taking notes?

I agree.

Also it seems like the 1st period has been our best this series. We need to get a couple goals early and get the crowd roaring

Also, we need to tweak our powerplay and roll with 2 units and get Malkin off the point. something like this

PP1
Crosby and Hossa on the wings
Roberts in front of the net
Gonchar and Whitney at the point

PP2
Malkin and Sykora on the wings
Malone in front
Gonchar and another Dman at the point (Sydor or Letang)

I hope the Pens put this one away early.....honestly I don't think my blood pressure could handle another 3OT game....LOL. But still it was epic.....and my love and respect for hockey is growing even more because of that game.

LET'S GO PENS!!

The guy from the "Cryers" had a much more serious injury. His eye was swollen shut for days after the hit. Don't fault the guy for not playing with that injury. It's a miracle he still has a usable eye.

Didn't he end up with a lacerated spleen from that shot?

A tad over 4 hours until game time! From what I've heard on the local sports shows, the Pens say they are ready - so am I!!!!

I look for one helluva game tonight and have all the faith in the world that our Pens will come out on top once again and take it to Game #7!

LETS GO PENS!
