My NBA idea
huh, i wonder when they will decide on a name for the oklahoma city nba team.
i still and always will think that the nba should move the clippers to san diego, move a franchise to buffalo and tampa. i also think that the nba should have a 32-team system with a N/S/E/W system just like the nfl and have 4 teams in each division. ECN 1 Detroit 2 Buffalo 3 Chicago 4 Toronto ECE 1 Philadelphia 2 New Jersey/Brooklyn 3 Boston 4 New York Knicks ECS 1 Orlando 2 Tampa Bay 3 Miami 4 Atlanta ECW 1 Indiana 2 Cleveland 3 Milwaukee 4 Charlotte WCN 1 Portland 2 Seattle (Revived) 3 Denver 4 Utah WCS 1 San Antonio 2 New Orleans 3 Houston 4 Dallas WCE 1 Memphis 2 Kansas City 3 Minnesota 4 Oklahoma City WCW 1 Los Angeles 2 San Deigo 3 Golden State 4 Sacramento Have each team play intra-divisional teams 4 times each, play opposite conference teams twice (home and home), and inter-divisional games 2 or 3 times a year. Eg. San Diego Clippers 4 Games against Los Angeles Lakers 4 Games against Sacramento Kings 4 Games against Golden State Warriors (2 home, 2 away each) 32 games vs. Eastern Conference alternated 2 or 3 games vs. WCN, WCS, and WCE |

The Clippers already were in San Diego (1978-84) and they moved to LA because they sucked and nobody in SD cared about them, which showed in the pitiful attendance at their home games. Considering that they still suck, I don't see how moving back to SD would benefit the team or the NBA as a whole.

kc had a nba team and it failed miserably.... just like the nhl team they had... if they want to take a big risk then do it..
