I hope that the Detroit game is on my and HTG's season ticket plan this year, otherwise I'm going to buy a ticket. That is one game I absolutely cannot miss.

The home games on 10/18, 12/8, 12/11 and 4/1 are not in bold - just to let you know. They play a LOT of road games in the first half of the season (24 + the "home game" in Sweden on 10/5), and have a stretch of 10 of 13 on the road from 2/14 to 3/12 followed by an EIGHT game homestand from 3/18-4/1. When was the last time the Pens had an 8-game homestand? In fact, half of their home schedule comes AFTER January 13, and 21 of their final 38 games are in the friendly confines of Mellon Arena. Wow.

Feburary 8, 2009 - circle it. Be there if you can, because the atmosphere is going to be off the charts and the boos loud and long the second That Guy Who Stiffed Us steps on the ice.

Sweet! I'll be going to the Sharks game (at San Jose) and then on my trip to Pittsburgh, I'll be going to the game on December 8th!

Well if you guys are planning on going to any games, individual tickets go on sale Sept. 20, and I'd suggest you be online right when they first go on sale if you want to get tickets for the marquee games. There are only going to be about 2,000 tickets per game available to the general public after the season ticket holders get their chance to buy additional tickets before the public on-sale. If you aren't able to, you can go to the Penguins Ticket Exchange and buy from season ticket holders, just as you can for the Steelers. Failing both of those, there's always scalpers!

Depends on the game, really. They aren't allowed to sell for more than face value, though - it's the law.
