I heard that the Pens ARE getting that new arena and that there will be a hotel and casino in it, as well. It is to be built on the Civic Arena site which will be torn down when the contract expires.

Anyone else hear about it?

I agree...(lol). I want the Pens to stay in Pittsburgh.

Since you're from Hollidaysburg, SteelCityMan786, do you ever get to Johnstown to see the Chiefs play? I noticed in one of your other posts you said you got chances for Riverhawks tix for Christmas. If I would have known you were a Riverhawks fan, I could have gotten you free tix. My boss is good friends with the coaches and we work in J-town. I'm not an arena football kinda gal myself.

I get up to Johnstown for a couple chiefs games. Usually more frequently on New Years DAy. but this year since I am going to the Steelers Lions Game the next day so I kinda have to break it this year but I hope to get to 1 in 2006. Hopefully the team is in the Playoffs. Good to see you aggree the Penguins belong in Pittsburgh.
