Anyone traveling to any Pitt away games this year? I'm eyeing the game in South Bend myself. StubHub has tickets for 130 each.

i kno Pitt plays Navy this year at Navy and they play about 30 minutes away from where i live. i may jus make the trip to see them play

this yr all depends on lesean mccoy, the kids is amazing and he'll carry this team.. but the def needs to step up and stop opposing off.. esp wvu again like last yr

Well with Kinder back as a deep threat we should be able to keep 8 men out of the box and make the running game even more potent. It should be a great year for us, if its not, Dave needs to move on. Its his 4th year and these are all "his guys" now playing so he'd better show he can coach a college team to wins.

The defense should be fine with its depth at linebacker and strong D-line. Looking forward to game 1 against Bowling Green. They are a decent MAC school and we should handle them but get a good test out of them.

Former Penn State offensive lineman Josh Marks has enrolled at Pitt and will join the Panthers next week when classes begin as a walk-on.

Marks, who is from Class A powerhouse Southern Columbia High School, was rated as the third best linemen in Pennsylvania in the class of 2007 by Rivals.Com and chose the Nittany Lions over offers from Pitt, West Virginia and Rutgers.

However, he decided to transfer from Penn State after the spring semester and after gaining a release from his scholarship. He had been in search of a place to finish his career. Marks, who will be re-united with one of his former Southern Columbia teammates, fullback Henry Hynoski, will be a redshirt freshman and will have three years of eligibility left after sitting out this season.

Wow... I never thought he'd make it a DI, let alone PSU. Now he's at another DI school? Hynoski always made that line look good in HS anyway, kid was a bull. Our 135 lb LB/DE was around Marks and in the backfield every posession at least once. Kid cannot move.

I thought he'd end up at Bloomsburg.
