Are we more dangerous as a road team going into the playoffs?

The Steelers always seem to play better when they're the underdog or it seems that they aren't getting any respect from the media or an opposing team is talking trash before the game.

The problem of course is getting to the Superbowl whilst being continually made the underdog.

If the Steelers make it to the big game, which will mean beating some heavyweight teams - then (outside of big injuries) I cannot see how they would not be big favourties for the big game.

Steeler football is physical, bruising and sometimes very ugly - but its football best played when you are highly motivated from a negative media.

I think we are a better road team this year. We seem to play better in hostile environments. We probably need a different formula this year and if that formula means winning on the road so be it. The bottom line is you have to play 60 minutes and win the football game.

There is one positive to playing on the road as the lowest seed: The players have no hype about themselves to live DOWN to...(think about it for a second).

Also, I believe that the cold hard facts website argued that Cowher has never upset a team in the playoffs, so, being the lowest seed in the 2005 playoffs, any Steeler win would be, by definition, an upset, thereby dispelling another knock on Cowher.
