Steelers' Holmes aims for his first 1,000-yard season

The NFL leader in yards per catch last season was not New England Patriots receiver Randy Moss.

The Pittsburgh Steelers' reception yards and touchdown leader wasn't Hines Ward.

To the surprise of many, the owner of these three accolades is Steelers receiver Santonio Holmes, who quietly has developed into one of the most feared deep threats and respected young receivers in the NFL...

I believe this season is going to be Santo's season to shine. He wants to succeed in the NFL and with the Steelers and is doing what it takes to achieve those goals. A diamond in the rough no more.

As long as he stays healthy, he'll get to over 1000 yards and probally top 1200 yards. He would have done it last year if not for his ankle.

this could be a good yr for him.. his first 1,000 yrd plus season. first pro bowl.. could be a very happy ending

santonio's going to be burning CBs all season. I just hope he plays all 16 games

I hope Santonio has a monster year he has the abilitys to hit that 1000 plus yards and hopefully alot of touchdowns to go with it.
