The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

We did play alot of 2nd/3rd string

sure... the average jax player is stupid enough to believe that the pats rested half their players due to "injury". come on, these guys aren morons and know what the hell is going on just like i do.

There were no extraneous injuries reported that seemed immediately suspicious.

Some players were made inactive and some players dropped out at the end of the 1st Quarter - all these were apparently healthy and were simply being rested.

If Jax want to read something into that then they are welcome to - maybe it'll get em so hyped up then can try grinding on of our players heads into the ground.....its a Jax 'signature move' apparently.

theres a difference between tanking it and being confident enough that it made no difference who they played next week. He had home field next week. THey are the World Champions who believe they can beat anybody. So why get your players banged up?
Normally, a #4 seed with a 10-6 record wouldnt seem like a team to worry about.
But this is a different situation. This is the 1983 NY Islanders, or the 1967 Green Bay Packers, or the 1969 Boston Celtics.
When the bell rings NOBODY wants to play the New England Patriots.
