You know, with the way the rest of our division is playing, it IS possible.

I wouldn't want him to be out completely... maybe just play the first quarter or half of each game.

this season is pretty cool... every week has just as an exciting matchup as the previous week.

If Palmer doesn't play (which is very possible considering the news slowly coming out of Cinci on his elbow) I think the question is has Ryan Fitzpatrick faced a Steelers defense before?

If he hasn't, I could see it being a long day for him. Their run game is not one to be desired, and since our run D is top dog right now, I think it all comes down to who's playing QB for the Bungles.

On our side of the ball, our O-line just has to play adequete and I think Ben can carve a hole big enough for the state of Ohio to fit in.

Honestly, I don't see this as a trap game. I see this as a game against an inferior opponent that we must not overlook.

Hopefully we can come back from the bye week healthy and ready to play some football and beat the bungholes this week.

All I can say is...

if we head into the second part of our season 7-2... we are set.

Three wins against our rivals would put us at 10 wins... then pick off a couple more, and we are 12-4, 13-3.

I think 12 wins may earn a bye this year.

quite honestly going 2-1 against giants, skins and colts is wishful thinking... i see the giants and skins posing the most problems but if the colts played like they did today against baltimore we could very well be staring at a 5-4 record... (i have no idea what happend to washington today...got overconfident? but i'll bet u they won't be over confident when they play pittsburgh)

good news is we have indy and giants at home so it shouldn't be too bad

Why? Considering the way this season is going, we could also be 8-1 after those games as well. Nobody's unbeatable and I have yet to see a dominant team in the league yet this year.

I think possible losses to the Giants, Cowboys and Colts could happen.

While wins vs the Redskins, Chargers, Bengals, Patriots seem very probable. That puts the Steelers @8-4 coming down the stretch with 3 more division games left. A 10 or 11 win season seems very possible unless the wheels fall off.
