you are right steelmember.. the asterik does mean that the time of the game can be changed for nay reasons...
well it will be nice that the week they play san diego and then cincy on thurs.. we get an extra 3-4 days of rest. so that can help out a lil bit... and 4 out of the next 5 games are home.. so that is nice too

IMO it will be very tough to get a top 2 seed and a bye with our schedule and injuries combined.
Buffalo has a very easy schedule and looks decent and Tennesee is also solid. I think we can beat any team in the leauge specially when healthy but we can (and likely will) loose some games down the strech. Hopefully we will have the division wrapped up quickly and rest some key players the last week or 2 in lie of getting a bye. |

Those games are eligible for flex scheduling. If any of those games develop in such a way that there are seeding implications and the scheduled SNF or MNF game will feature dogs, ESPN or NBC can move one of the starred games into the primetime slot and kick the dog game back to the Sunday networks.

I'm really wary about not having Mcfadden and perhaps Troy for the Giants game. They're deep in the weapons department and we definitely don't need to be getting any thinner in the defense.
The Giants will be without MLB Antonio Pierce (defensive leader - mike'd helmet). If ever there was a time for Ben to practice his 3 step drop, it's this week.

if we can beat the Giants this week I think we'll be able to go 14-2

I really believe the Titans are overrated. Jeff Fisher is the best coach in the league.

The Steelers have a good chance of playing well and coming out of the Storm with a good record.
Teams like the Pats, Chargers, Colts, Browns, Bungles, Ravens we can all hand them a loss. The Steelers only need to stick to the game plan and no huddle, and don't shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers against the good teams. We are very solid team all around and having the number one defense helps. We shut down the run game causing the team to pass more often, giving into turnovers and putting the game in Ben's hand which i always trust. The Steelers can finish the season anywhere from 10-6 to 12-4. BELIEVE! |

![]() At the beginning of the season I predicted the Steelers would go 10-6. They would only have to play 500 ball to achieve that. At this point, I believe they will do better.

I just hope that we head into the playoffs just hitting our stride.
Think about it. We really haven't played any games where our offense and defense have hit their stride at the same time... Now this IS the Pittsburgh Steelers, and you KNOW that they WILL hit their stride at some time. Could you just imagine if that time was our Game against the Browns in December? What a GREAT time to do it! |
