patriots only beat 1 team with a decent qb this year. pittsburgh.
j. delhomme-loss d. brees-loss j. plummer- loss p. manning- loss t. green loss all other qb's they faced were sub par and clearly outmatched by t. brady. the question is the jax qb, which may not bode well for the road team. while it seems to be popular belief that jax doesnt have a solid group of wr, i think matt jones will be the x factor. if whoever plays qb can play like a top 15 qb i think the jags got a good chance, especially with wilfork, and jimmy smith. i dont know if the pats plan on having bruschi trailing mat jones but this is a matchup i would try to create and wear him down and then pound them with fred taylor. |

I'll give Jax credit for beating Seattle, even though it was the first game, and Cincy was playing okay football when they beat the Bengals...
