went to DICK'S at lunchtime. Bought AFC champs sweatshirt, three long sleeve shirts, a short sleeve shirt, a hat, and a #92 jersey.


btw - the hat, short sleeve shirt, and 2 of the long sleeve shirts are for family. I'm not THAT greedy!

I'm debating my next jersey purchase as well. I think I'm going to wait until the jerseys with the SB logo come out. Then it's between Ward and Polamalu. I'm think Ward because he will always be a Steeler and you can wear it 25 yrs from now, not that i will.

Your post confuses me...Polamalu has already solidified his position as a Steeler. I mean maybe he doesn't have the 11 years Ward does but still...

The second thing that confuses me...don't you plan on being a Steeler fan 25 years from now???

You're right about #1, I guess my opinion is simply that Ward will be in the HOF, and if Polamalu keeps playing he will be as well. That's really the only difference.

#2 Of course I'll be a Steelers fan in 25 years but I won't be out wearing a 25 year old Ward jersey then, or a Polamalu jersey in 30. Hopefully they'll both be hanging on the wall in my yet to be built Steelers room!!!

I wish I could find a Casey Hampton away jersey...An Aaron Smith away would also be cool, & lately I've been thinking about a Reed away jersey. I already have a Ward away & don't want to get a Ben or Troy jersey because everybody has those. My favorite is my Farrior home jersey because nobody around here wears one.
