Yep, Scifres was gonna singlehandedly win the game against us for San Diego as well, as I recall.

3. Our physicality is brutal.

4. In the end, we won that game because we protected the ball, we took theh ball away, and we got into the Raven's heads and got a 15 yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. . . AGAIN. That penalty drove them back... made them get more yards while protecting even more. Thus, Troy was free instead of covering the TE who was in to block when Troy got the INT. And that is a big key. Without a good TE to tie Troy up, he is going to be free to ball hawk and roam all day.
Nice string of comments Preacher and well done as well.....that alone is another reasong to be here on Steeler Fever Forum.....totally refreshing......

I will wait to add my comments........right now the DB's are playing like a force and the LB's and front 3 as well..........get the running game going and the Steelers shoud do very well against Arizona.........BEN IS READY..........and I agree Sweed......is the real deal........drop and all

Great game break down Preacher and thanks for sharing. I definitely believe that Leonard Pope is not a TE you have to lose sleep over. Also, I really feel that Timmons should be on the field a lot more on 2/1/09 to help with coverage and of course rushing Warner. It's just fun to watch Timmon's speed and that can only help trying to defend the Cardinals offense.

I agree with it all except Sweed's drop. The replay clearly showed him look up towards the jumbotron, he took his eye's off the ball. I just can't understand the need to look up there at that moment. I know players use the jumbotron to spot coverages and stuff, but he had everyone beat, and no one in front of him. All he had to do was look the ball into his hands, and if he didn't look up he would have made the catch and scored. I agree that he did make a beautiful move on the DB though, and after I saw him put that hit on Ivy later on made he think he'll make a nice replacement for Ward when he retires. The mistakes for the most part have been rookie mistakes, but looking the ball into his hands his something this kid definitely needs to work on. I'm putting my money on him getting Hood in man coverage and beating him for a long TD in the Super Bowl. He could come away with a SB MVP and that would shock all of us .

When did the jumbotron drop down 15 stories to field level? Dude was scoping out the endzone.
