honestly, that saddens me because back in the day (which was always a Wednesday by the way) they used to be something important and special in the realm of a rivalry. but, they aren't anymore. i have a lot of friends who are Browns fans...and for their sake, i would like to see the Browns become competitors again. compete...and lose. =)
Do I see a Dane Cook reference???

Not in a million years bro. I'm a Browns fan until the day I die. I was born with the Orange and Brown running through my blood. I can respect your team, but I will never cheer them on (except against the Ratbirds.)

So what happens when Lerner sells the team? And there are no Browns in Cleveland?

It could happen, you know. The fans in Cleveland won't continue to go to the games if the Browsn suck EVERY Year.

Nothing has stopped them so far.

Mangini has a poor coaching record--he's the textbook example of the arrogant coach who manipulates people to fit his schemes, rather than putting people in a position to succeed.

Wow, Mangini sounds like such a dick head, which proves that he has no clue as to what it takes to be a real leader.
I remember when Tomlin came in, he said something like making changes for the sake of making changes to put your own stamp on things is ego driven.
Mangini stinks of the ego & it will be fun to see Tomlin beat him down this coming season.
I've loved Tomlins approach from the beginning & am relieved that we didn't end up with some jerk-off egomaniacal wannabe like Mangini.
I smell doom for the Browns...

Recession won't help. The economy around here is worse than just about every where else. Also, this is still a Browns dominated town, BUT if the Cavs win a championship and the Indians make a run, that could change. I think they have 1-2 more years to turn it around in Cleveland until the Browns fans have had enough and start protesting the perennial shittiness of the franchise via not buying tickets and merchanidise...
