I was looking at our Superbowl Victories, and came to an conclusion. SWEEPING THE NFC WEST!

Superbowl XIV:
Steelers 31
Rams 19

Superbowl XL:
Steelers 21
Seahawks 10

Superbowl XLIII:
Steelers 27
Cardinals 23

See a trend?

9'ers.. YOU'RE NEXT!

Steelers 34
49'ers 13

..... of the Stillers' first 4 SB victories, they played a team from each of the 3 NFC Divisions (at the time) at least once (Minnesota in IX, the Cryboys in X & XIII, the Lambs in XIV), and they've never played any team in what is now the NFC South in the Big Game:
might-as-well come down here and kick one of these sorry teams' azz' next year in February '10.

They have a chance Preacher, lol. Seriously, they have a new Head Coach so who knows. Also, we probably could have said the same thing about the Arizona Cardinals last season. In that wacky NFC, anything is possible.

The best reason to play and beat SF would be to drop their all-time Super Bowl record to 5-1, which would be below our 7-1!!!

5-0 is only better than 6-1 in winning percentage anyway.

Absolutely. No matter what the projection, every team begins the season at 0-0.

Agreed - who cares about SB winning percentage? The Jets are 1-0, tied with the 49ers.

I'd rather be 8-2 than even 7-0.
