The Baltimore Sun passes along speculation that the Ravens are now offering Bart Scott a five-year, $42 million contract.

That's $2 million more than the Jets' offer. Scott also reportedly wants to be assured that he will be the "center piece" of the new defense, which means he would be taking over Ray Lewis' spot. Scott is still negotiating with both clubs.

Ray Lewis Mite Be Thinkng BOut COming BAck!According to NFL Network's Adam Schefter, Ray Lewis is open to returning to the Ravens and is denying all anti-Ravens talk.

When Schefter reported earlier that "sources close to Lewis" said he would not return to Baltimore, former teammate Rod Woodson called Lewis and received a different account. Lewis says he will take two days to get away from it all in Florida before making a decision. It now looks like a return to the Ravens is quite possible.

I kind of agree, but at the same time they're tying up cap space on a 33-34 year old guy. His skills probably already have diminished somewhat, if they haven't they will be soon, and playing RB at that age he is susceptible to injury.
