on this day in 1876, alexander graham bell was awarded a patent for a revolutionary device called the telephone. thus this day, 133 years ago, marks the 1st time "the bengles suck" ever hit the wires.

Morse Code was invented by Samuel F. B. Morse (1791-1872), a painter and founder of the National Academy of Design. He conceived the basic idea of an electromagnetic telegraph in 1832, and produced the first working telegraph set in 1836. This made transmission possible over any distance. The first Morse Code message, "The Bengals Suck", was sent from Washington to Baltimore.

of course its not really that impressive considering the native americans have been sending word that the bengals suck to other tribes via smoke signals for over 1000 years.

wasnt it the commanche who made the 1st ever bungles suck smoke transmission?

Some time in the year 519BC an ancient Roman hero was born. His last name was Cincinnatus. He always regreted being born because when he looked up to the stars he could "see into the future". He saw that one day a city with a sucky football team would be named after him and he also regreted ever looking up at the stars. When he looked up he gaged at how much the bungals suck!

Thanks, I just I had to take a test over ancient rome in history. This was the only part of the test that everyone here in cincy (except me) got wrong.

The rock paintings inside of Altamira Cave are very well done. The neanderthal artist who lived there found great pleasure in creating works of art that are painted on the ceiling of the cave and walls. He was trying to portray a pre-historic cat looking creature sucking through a reed. This tells us that he knew the bengals suck because he illustrated them many times.
