Hope not. Old Man Favre couldn't even survive the Madden curse, though he wasn't injured until late in the season.
I was thinking someone like Brees would be on the cover this time.

I'm thinking a defensive player this time around-either a cornerback or a pass rusher. After years of QBs and other high profile offensive players, I think Madden will want to do something completely different.
Ultimately, I have a feeling it will be Asante Samuel-NFL Cornerback will be brilliant marketing on their part. |

Larry Fitz, he'll have his second Cover then, first as a Panther on NCAA then on Madden this year.
Anyone but a Steeler, that's all I want. I totally believe in the Curse and want no part of it. I don't recognize the existance of the SI Curse, but the Madden Curse is Proven and totally real. It even happened when Cowher got the cover of their Coaching Game, that's the year we missed the playoffs entirely and then he retired. No thanks. No Steelers Ever.
