Unfortunately, Pronk has really struggled getting his swing back.

Fortunately, we are so deep that we can have Garko play 1st and Martinez can DH if need be. There are other options as well. But it looks like Wedge is going forward with Hafner in the 4 hole to start the season no matter what. Hopefully the reps get him back up to speed fast.

Exactley Pronk can take his time and get that swing working right. Shoppach has given us alot of options.

I think it's going to come down to that starting rotation. If they can produce, the Tribe wins 100 (or close) this year. It's an odd numbered year. They have the right mix of youth and vets. They look stromg in the pen. They have depth. They should CLOBBER the ball this year.

If the starters hold up, it's gonna be a good year.

From what I read the entire staff has looked good except Lee. But yea pitching is key this year.

Lee I'm not worried about. I had him pegged as a 20 game winner TWO years ago. He's a lefty who has great control, has 4 good pitches and keeps the ball low. He lives and dies by the fastball, though, and I think he's struggled a tad getting that pitch on different planes this spring. Once that pitch is in place, it sets up his other stuff, and he could easily win another 20 if he gets run support (and he should with the sticks in that dugout)

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (AP)—The San Diego Padres have acquired right-handed reliever Edward Mujica from the Cleveland Indians.

General Manager Kevin Towers announced the deal Wednesday. The Indians will receive a player or cash for Mujica (MOO-he-kuh).

The 24-year-old Mujica split the 2008 season between Cleveland and Triple-A Buffalo. With the Indians, he was 3-2 with a 6.75 ERA and had 27 strikeouts in 33 appearances.

Mujica is 3-3 record with 6.04 ERA with 46 strikeouts in 53 relief outings for Cleveland (2006-08). He was signed by the Indians as a undrafted free agent on October 22, 2001.

Mujica is 0-2 with an 8.10 ERA in nine spring training appearances.

I'm 39 years old. I've been a Steelers fan since I was about 6. I've been an Indians fan since I was about 8. My dad and I were forced to watch Tribe games on a black and white TV in the basement on an old UHF channel. But we did. The Indians didn't even have a winning season until I was in my 20's.

My grandpa lived in Cleveland for years and was a Indians fan. I became one to have something to talk about with him. Ill cheer for the Pirates every chance I get. Just cause the Tribe are my favortie baseball team dont make me any less of a die hard Steelers fan.

The Tribe should be very good this year.

I really hope the Tigers have another bad season, and watch out for the Royals this year to.
