Default Jack Kemp, former quarterback and VP nominee, dies

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090503/...Nra2VtcGZvcm0-

he died from a long bout with cancer at 73 years old. bummer, i always thought he was cool, and felt the nation woulda still been in good hands had he and dole beat clinton in '96.

and from what ive read and the stories i heard from that campaign he definitely woulda been a football player i pulled for (much like jim kelly).

RIP

I don't know anything about the man, but if SF member says he a man worthy enough 2 bother placing a post about him on this, he must've been a fine man.

RIP.

that is a shame. I really liked Kemp. He just seemed like a good guy.
