I have a feeling this will be "Troy 2"...a Steve Smith repaint.

This is a great subject. I did a Santonio from this.

I would hope they use the Bruschi figure as the basis for that astounding Troy catch last year...

This is a GREAT custom (I didn't do it) that I have been pondering. Going to wait to see what McF comes out with.

Absolutely. That was my original inspiration to do custom McFarlanes. I saw a 12" Barry Foster throwback and said to myself "Self, you need to try this!".

In 1994, the NFL's 75th Anniversary season, the Steelers played two games in 1933 throwback uniforms, as seen in your picture. There is little on the net about those but I found a site years back that had a good history. Link now dead...
'

The uni on the left is the 1933. The image in the center is the City of Pittsburgh logo. I mocked it up as much as I could in PowerPoint following the Foster McFarlane graphic because I like it better...

And thus was born my first custom McFarlane...

Is the 33 throwback "true" to the original uniform? Sort of. The original helmet was yellow, and the City logo was reverse black & white. But I really liked the 94 throwbacks.

Wow. Thank U. I found 1994 roster on http://www.pro-football-reference.co...994_roster.htm Thanks so much.

BTW, I had exact same Favre figure that I didn't know what 2 do. Then I saw your figures, & now my Bell's figure with away jersey is with it just they way U positioned em on your shelf. U rock.

Is Kendrell swatting the ball?

Yeah, I got that Favre in a 2 pack with Urlacher and quickly substituted Bell. Looks MUCH better. Urlacher's top became my Farrior.

I got another 2 pack earlier this spring - Portis jumping McStabbin...

I'm pondering Portis becoming Silverback hurdling Tomlinson in 05...

And McStabbin into Silverback going into Marsha low and another Bell as Woodley hitting him high. That would be an insensitive display. But hey, not everyone can make insensitive work for them.

This being the inspiration. Slightly different poses.

I too was disappointed that they re-released Ben 2...

How about Michael Turner being a re-paint of The Bus...

On mine, Kendrell looks more like if he's going 2 grab Favre's arse. (which is exactly what my wife said after I asked her opinion ).

& I was actually wondering if Portis could B turned into Willie or Rashard before. So it would B more like a sweet revenge on our part.
