Didn't Bylsma say he won't be a 4th liner anymore? I imagine Talbot starts on Geno's wing unless wingers are signed for him.

if we use Max at winger and use someone from WBS to fill the 4th line, that will save some money towards filling that other winger spot left open on Geno's line. Whether it be Tank or someone else we bring, all i know is..

Cant wait till noon tommorrow!!

Two pre-free agency deals done

One set in stone, the other awaiting approval

Heatley to the Oilers, needs his approval first

Scott Gomez to the Habs

Heatley had until midnight to waive his NTC, and he didn't according to Bob McKenzie. Heatley is still with Ottawa.

That is true, but Ottawa still has 24 hours to trade him, or they'll be on the hook for a $4 million roster bonus. There was some speculation that the Gomez trade was done to clear cap space for Heatley to go to the Rangers, which can still happen. I hope it doesn't - I'd rather not see another division rival improve like the Flyers did by getting Pronger.

I've heard rumors that they could be after Havlat. If their demand is lower then the anticipated 5.25 Million some project him to get, I say Mr. Shero should go after him.

This also because Shero is close with Havlat's agent (Allen Walsh I believe). I would be happy if we could get Havlat.
