That works for me...problem is at this late date, that's probably already gone. The longer we wait, the earlier the draft will have to be. The worst thing is to have a draft at the beginning of or before preseason, because of injuries and emerging players...

I just went in to Yahoo!, and played around with creating a dummy league using the same settings from last year, all the way to the point of being 1 click away from actually creating the league for the NFC side. The date and time of 30 Aug 09 8:00 pm EST is still available, we need to move soon if this is the time we want.

Correction: The time of 8:00pm is PDT, not EST. 6:00pm EST is available for the same day.

Juts to clarify, are we only running one "division" this year? It looks like we barely have 12 people total...

i was just gonna ask the same thing. by doing a quick scan of this whole thread, it seams we got from last year 7committed from the afc and 5 committed from the nfc. that would equal one league of 12. who ran the nfc? want to run one league? or have kat set up the league he began to create? worst case scenario if more show up soon we just cancel. how about we create a league in espn? i believe you can set up any draft date and time you want there (plus, i have access to their site and not yahoo's at work :) dont matter much to me though. my vote is for creating one league and set draft date up asap!

i am at work and have nothing to do (well nothing funner anyway, lol) so i created a league in espn for 12 teams. commish can be changed at any time along with adding or subtracting owners. here is the link:

draft date setup for august 30 at 8:45 pm. all league scoring and settings can be changed to whatever everyone wants. if we want this as our league page, its already active and let me know to start filling up the invites with names and emails and commish can be decided later. if this site isnt wanting to be used, i wont lose sleep over it. you guys decide.

I was just playing with the creation of the league to see if the date and time was available, so the league is not active. Count me in with what you have.
