Both sides of the fence are equally at fault for showing lack of class, but as a converted GOP'er, I can come out and admit it, unlike most Libs who want to dish it out and shove it up the ass and down the throat of Repubs without taking a look at their own reflection in the mirror. This lack of class by both parties didn't just begin with The Savior being elected - that ugliness has been around for eons. I'm also starting to see that same lack of class in some independents, as well.

What makes me want to vomit is seeing a throng of people (mostly Demos from my own experiences) at a pro-abortion rally waving their signs promoting the death of innocent babies.

Remember the Bush signs with the swastikas in them? How about the Bush joke face from Vanity Fair? I was not a fan of President Bush, but those attacks were lowbrow and disgusting.

But now a few things happen to President Obama and the uberlibs start throwing the race card and saying they want all the partisan attacks to stop. Well it's too late libs. The BDs are on to you. Pretty soon you'll be focred to answer to the real fiscal conservatives within your own party. The spend and tax express is pulling to it's final stop without any of your socialist platform being fulfilled.

You know, (and I NEVER thought I would hear my self say this...well, see myself type this) if the democrats came out pro-life and financially conservative, with how far left the GOP has moved, I could see myself voting democrat (as long as they were supporting the military as well, instead of balancing the budget on the back of the military).

That isn't because I am a fan of democrats... that is because I am a true conservative, and there just is no party for me anymore. The GOP is WAY too liberal, and the dems have fallen off the edge with socialist programs.

Let an old blue-dog democrat run and just see how much this country would come back together. I honestly think that Lieberman should have refused to caucaus with the dems and ran as an independent in the elections. Against McCain, there is about a 50/50 chance he would have gotten my vote.

The Dems as a party will NEVER come out as pro-life. It goes against everything the base stands for. They want abortion on demand in a no fault world. If you hold your breath waiting for this to happen, you'll pass out.

Second, the Dems will never support the military the way that most Americans think they need supported. Again, this goes against everything the base stands for. Not that the Repubs have done a bang up job in the last 8 years mind you. But the Dems would rather young people join AmeriCorps, City Year, ACORN, and other organizations that they can control rather than the military that answers to a higher legal and ethical authority.

Over the weekend, a GOP official in South Carolina posted a comment to Facebook comparing Michelle Obama to an escaped gorilla. Now, in a second instance of Republicans playing the race card against the Obamas, Wonkette notes that a racist e-mail was sent out by a legislative staffer for Tennessee GOP state senator Diane Black. The staffer, Sherri Goforth, e-mailed this composite picture of the country’s 44 presidents, which represents President Obama with only a set of eyes:

Nashville Is Talking asked Goforth about the e-mail:

When I asked her if she understood the controversial nature of the photo, Goforth would only say she felt very bad about accidentally sending it to the wrong list. When I gave her a second chance to address the controversial nature of the email, she again repeated that she only felt bad about sending it to the wrong list of people.

“I went on the wrong email and I inadvertently hit the wrong button,” Goforth told NIT. “I’m very sick about it, and it’s one of those things I can’t change or take back.”

Once again, we can pick anecdotal cases of classlessness in both parties. The fact of the matter remains, class is something that has been lost in our society, for conversation, from decorum, from politics, and from the way individuals interact. To pin more or less classlessness on one party is simply to be blind, IMO
