I have to say that I`m glad Favre is still playing.For NFL newbies like myself it`s great to see a legend of the game in action.Just watched the highlights of the Vikings-Texans pre-season and he still looked pretty agile and `up for it`.
If nothing else it gives hope to us `old`uns`.....I mean,he`s nearly as old as me dagnabbit!

I am glad someone is getting joy out of it. Its funny how different people have different perspectives of the guy. I am personally sick and tired of the hype, crying, press conferences and the other BS. I used to look at Favre as the most exciting QB of his era. Everytime he scrambled against a team I was rooting for, or betting for ,I became nervous. Now I look at him as a selfish has been getting ready to throw a pic and lose the game, letting down his teammates. Bretts dragging his own name through the mudd by playing the last 2 years IMO.
