Default Directv RedZone channel vs NFL Network Red Zone Channel

I live in NYC and subscribe to the NFL Ticket on Directv every year to watch the Steelers .

But like some of you, I thought the channel is going to be available and free but the facts are this:

-Only Comcast has signed up to carry the NFL Redzone channel and it's only available with its sports package.

-TimeWarner and Dish Network have not signed up and chances are if they do, it'll be bundled in a package that you have to subscribe to. ( maybe $5.00-$6.00 )

-DirectTV will not carry it for obvious reasons (they have their own redzone channel).

Isaac Redman has his own tv channels?

Verizon Fios is offering the NFL Redzone channel too. I signed up yesterday for the $49.95 one-time fee, which is charged in over three monthly installments. Can't wait to see to see every TD from every Sunday game!

Dish Network has it and itll cost 5.99 a month. Personally I already get the Steelers so why do I need to pay to see other teams score.
