It was a GREAT game to watch, but... I don't really care for the overtime rule either.

It is what it is... the same for everyone. I'm not saying it is unfair... only that I don't care for it. I would like to see something like 7.5 minutes of overtime play; each team getting a chance to best the other, instead of the team that wins the toss marching down to field goal range and kicking the winning field goal.

This has NOTHING to do with the outcome of the game last night... it is just something that I would like to see implimented.

man do i hate people who cry about the great OT rule the nfl has

i always say to those idiots "if you don't want the game to be decided by a coin toss...don't let the f'n thing get to OT"

and "hey...how about ya learn how to play some f'n defense, and you'll get the ball too"

buncha damn politically correct soccer moms trying to ruin the sport

Couldn't agree more. There's nothing wrong with the current OT rules as they are, IMO.

You are absolutly correct, if you don't win the toss it is up to you to stop them. It isn't that hard of a concept and IMO i think it is more exciting because so much rides on that first drive.

i know right? people against the OT rule act like the opposing offense is being given the ball in fg range haha

maybe it's because of all the rules put in to protect qbs, and protect wrs , but when did people lose respect for defenses?

You know Peter King & Don Banks seem to take a cheap at the steelers every chance they get in my view. Now this like Fansince76 Lord Manning & King Brady must not be hit or beat in OT that is not acceptable. It gets real old hearing them hate on when the steelers win a hard fought game. Plus the rules of ot our fair tell your defense to stop them thats all. I bet the story would have been different if the titans would have won the game in ot. Or better yet if Manning got the ball first they all would have been kissing is butt on what a great drive to win the game by Lord Peyton. What a bunch of crap!!

I agree, but you know how the NFL is becoming - get out there and fix what isn't broken no matter how much it reeks of stupidity.

Let's let Jerry Jones, Al Davis, and the guy who owns the Broncos fix it. The Three Stooges of the NFL nyuk, nyuk, nyuk..
