The only thing wrong with it is the assumption that there is value in consistent winning the NFL being the only important thing when its more about the overall body of work from the beginning of the season to the end and then performance in the playoffs.

Just look at the 2005 Steelers and their amazing run at the end of the season needing to win out just to grab a 6th seed wild card and then win through the Superbowl, and then look at the 2007 Patriots going 18-0 before dropping the Superbowl to the Giants

Even though the Steelers have 2 losses I can't say I'm displeased with the overall body of work as they've had many positives in all 6 games.

Not!
I can't stand Favre but I'm glad the Vikes pulled that game out.

Vikes might come into the Burgh and lay an egg. In any case I am sure we can fumble our way to keep it close. Not to mention the refs giving Favre some close calls.

I was thinking TN is going to have their Super Bowl today and might pull an upset.

Remember all the folks saying they were going to run away with the AFCN after week 3? They're in 3rd place now.

The NFL season is a marathon, not a sprint.

Looks like the Ravens traded places with the bungles this season. Cincy's Cinderella season is about to turn into a pumpkin.

That would make it truly a red-letter day. 0-5 is too big a hole to climb out of anyway, considering they share the same division as the Colts and now with the Texans showing signs of not completely sucking for once.
