Loved this game tonight. Great team win. Hopefully they can keep a little streak going through the rest of the month. They're going to be scary good once they get everyone back though.

I caught that sign tonight as well and had to smile too, it's either that or cry.

And it was great to hear that Gonch's cast is off and I loved seeing the video of him shooting pucks during practice.

I agree SCM, when we get everybody back we are going to be scarey good, and I can't wait until that day comes. God willing nobody else gets hurt in the meantime.

Yeah, that was mentioned in a story I read on their website earlier - great news! They say he's still about 2 weeks away from returning, though - probably to strengthen his wrist.

Some better news, though - according to Phil Bourque on the radio, Max Talbot may be back either Thursday in Ottawa or Saturday in Atlanta! Getting him back would be a huge shot in the arm for the team.

Anyway, I only got to catch the 2nd and most of the 3rd periods, but it was a good, team win. I really liked how well the WBS callups on D played, particularly Guenin and Engelland. Both were very solid, I thought. Staal probably played his best game since TK went out of the lineup. That SHG was clutch - came at exactly the right time. As for Skoula, well he scored tonight, so I'll turn down the flame under his ass for one night, anyway.

The Pens sent Mark Letestu back to WBS today, so it looks like Talbot is indeed returning to the lineup!

The Penguins today reassigned rookie forward Mark Letestu to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, meaning it's likely one of the team's injured forwards will return when the club plays Thursday at Ottawa.

The strongest bet for a return is Max Talbot, the two-goal Game 7 hero from the Stanley Cup final in June. He had surgery on his left shoulder in July and has not played this season. He has been practicing with the team and skating on his own regularly before practice.

Letestu played two games, with no points, during his promotion.

Awesome! Max has been sorely missed and if the Superstar returns either tomorrow or Saturday night, it will be a huge boost for the Pens. They have really missed his infectious energy!
