Default Ravens @ Steelers Tailgate

Well, I've been a fan all my life and decided to go to this game on DEC 27th with my Dad and brother.

Doing this as my post-deployment present before I PCS off to Germany.

I was wondering how the tailgating works. None of us have been to a game but we are all life long Steeler fans. I splurged for the tickets we got since I had saved some money from Iraq (now just need to keep the fingers crossed that I make it back in time).

How do I get parking tickets to tailgate and/or is anyone doing a tailgate party and wouldn't mind having 3 fans join in?

The parking passes are kind of expensive. Ebay or a broker are best. I would buy earlier rather than later for the best price. A lot of people decide to buy last minute which drives up demand for passes. This is usually the case for passes not tickets. Tickets will likely get cheaper unless the game has huge playoff implications for both teams.
Remember not all lots are tailgating lots. Gold lots are the closest and allow tailgating. Plan on over $100 for these. Red are next. Don't get the red 5 as it's a garage and no tailgating. Probably $60 and up for these. Blue are the furthest that allow tailgating, $40 and up. Again don't get the blue garage.

If you split the cost with a big group, it's not bad usually $5-$10 per person. I'd try to hitch on to someone elses tailgate. There's a guy on here who posts his tailgates on here week of the game. He does them in blue lots and asks that you bring a dish or chip a few bucks in. Check back for his post. He seems to invite all Steelersfever members.

Have fun.
