I live in Tennessee and I am a diehard Steelers fan, but i do occassionaly watch Titans games when I am bored. Tank Williams is going to be a free agent this upcoming offseason, and the Steelers could get him at a cheap bargain. From watching him, he is a solid Safety and a hard hitter, and he is a ballhawk. The Titans are going to be 10 million over the cap this year and they aren't gonna be able to sign many people. Maybe somehow the Steelers could bring him in and convert him to FS.

No way.
He struggles mightily against the pass as a SS, if he played FS it would be tentamount to playing with 10 defensive players on passing downs. The Titans are not even sure they want him back and they were terrible at the safety position in '05. |
