You might want to do a little research on the guy you called an A hole. I think you might find that you would feel foolish about your comment.

Al is all about himself and his team, nothing about the NFL!

Just for shits and giggles, do as I suggested: Do some research on Al Davis. Then get back to me, and back up what you just said... bet you can't.

Al Davis and Jerry Jones used to be one in the same.. Both of them were way to hands on and never let the coaches do their jobs..

Jerry has since stepped back alittle since he hired Parcells.. IMO, Al Davis still has to have that choke hold on the HC that they never feel comfortable in their position.

Jerry Jones and Al Davis are nothing alike. Jerry jones had no choice but to step back... he knows relatively little about football. On the other hand, Al Davis probably knows more about football than anyone in the game today.

Al Davis isn't near as hands on as the media and haters would have everyone believe. It makes for good copy, so they just keep perpetuating the myth. I have never heard any of these claims from any coach that ever coached the Raiders... written or otherwise.

he did bail out the nfl from the big stink that was raised over their minority hiring practices this year. and i dont think shell was a token hire. it kind of seems like d. snyder bringing back j. gibbs to be a stablizing force for his org.

although i dont think the nfl would come out and pat davis on the back, behind the scenes they must be extremely pleased.
