Mendenhall writes poetry...
On the weekends our local paper has an insert called "USA Weekend"...and last weekend (the issue dated Dec 18-20) had an article in it called "So you think you can.....write?" and article about athletes who write poetry/etc. Low and behold there is a section on our own Rashard Mendenhall. Nothing big but i thought i'd share it with everyone...i was able to go to their website and find a link to the online version of this article...

The online version actually has the full poem...but it doesnt have the pic of him running the ball like the print version. I really dont know poetry to tell if its good or not, but check it out i guess. |

Not an expert or anything, but I'd have to say he's pretty good at it and has a solid handle of the English language. ...Which is a lot more than Marshawn Lynch can say.
