I cannot imagine a scenerio in which Mays goes before Thomas.

Al Davis and 40 yard dash's. Thomas will run it 4.4-4.5 whilst May can run it in 4.3 and with his steroids maybe a 4.29

Scouts won't forget his previous years when he also had some great linebackers.

It's the same as Thomas both have had real good talent around but Mays didn't during his senior year.

this is another reason why spoon is better pick. he is the best player vs someone who can hide behind other players(thomas)

Weatherspoon also had Hood infront of him with some other talented guys.

You could make a case with Mike Wallace as well with McCluster and Snead ect ect... happens with most prospect but mays collapsed this past season.

True but Spoon didn't have Ziggy this year and he was still a BEAST on DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love Thomas or Spoon in the first....either one of those guys would make an immediate impact on our team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
