It's the IRS's decision. Aren't ya glad they got into the healthcare industry.

What makes them think people or small businesses that can't afford it now, can afford now(then). Good luck finding a job if your looking, or more than likely will be soon looking. Small business can not pay for all the obaama freebies and manage to survive. And if they don't it's a $2000.00 fine per employee.

I can see a lot of employers hiring employees under "independent contractor" status in the future.

That's just it - they DON'T think about things like that, because it's all about the agenda. They don't give a damn if you can't afford it. On that note, I want to see what the prices are going to be in their so-called "exchanges." Bet you they will either be nearly as expensive as they are now, or cheaper but with bare minimum coverage. I'm picking the latter.

I'm guessing by the time they get 97% of the population covered the rates will be higher and the benefits like you say will be crap with something like a $7500 deductible. Thats my guess.

Not if they send a check. If people spend it on insurance or not, that's a different story. Freedom of choice.
