Zakk Wylde is the best I've ever seen, the guy can play absolutley anything. In the middle of the set while the rest of the band is takin a break he switches off and plays solo country style stuff on his acoustic. He is just plain sick...

And that is......?

Also what's the difference between being kicked out of the best metal band and being kicked out of the worst metal band? Besides the obvious assumption that it's a lot easier to be kicked out of the best band than it is the worst band, which makes his being kicked out even less important.

Besides, he should make the list for doing as much heroin as he did (been to rehab like 13 times) and still being able to play!

On a serious note, I don't actually think Dave Mustaine is in the top 100. I'm not even a big fan of his music. I'm just surpised he's not on the list, considering a few of the other questionables that made it.

All just an opinion though, and I'm no expert. I'm just a really bored Steeler fan killing time until the preseason.....

Actually, I think Prince should probably be on this list. Before you laugh, check out the re-runs of SNL in the next couple of months and watch/tape the show where he is the musical guest. I've always known he could shred, but I always had him pegged as a Jimi Hendrix clone...he's very clean and technical, and his influence on rock is certainly evident.

plus the fact that he can write, produce, play just about anything. while its not my cup of tea hes a great and talented musician. he should be on the list but it is a pretty selective list.
