HTG - I do use the neti pot, not 3 times a day like I should during allergy season - but a few times a week at least. I like it because gravity does all the work for you, check it out - they are cheap.

A friend of mine has been doing 10 day detox fasts every 6 months (and takes vitamin A) and has told me it has alleviated his allergy symptoms by about 75%.

Just purchased a Neti Pot and the saline rinse online. I do irrigate my nose regularly with a squeeze bottle but it just wasn't doing the trick.

I, too, have problems with allergies in the spring, but while I am able to take antihistimines, I cannot take any decongestants due to my mild hypertension. I'll try some of these tips, including taking more vitamin A. The detox won't work for me though because I can't go 10 days without my prescription drugs.
