now that the draft is over, training camp is underway and our 1st prseason game is only days away i wanted to see how people felt about our draft. i know alot of members including myself were angry on draft day but now that picks like gibson, worilds and sanders are looking good i want to see if anyone reconsidered.
personally i like alot of our picks. sanders will be a great wr and brown may end up being really good as well. both worilds and gibson look like future starters and pouncey is hopefully our center for the next 12 years. with that and as much as i like worilds i would rather of drafted a ILB in the 2nd instead of a OLB. i wanted to see someone replace timmons so we could move him on the outside. he obviously isnt a pro bowl ILB but when they let him rush he looks just as good as anyone. i think he could be the next Harrison at OLB. he just looks so good rushing to me and i think its a shame to keep him on the inside. as for pouncey, i love him but i would rather of had Iupati. i said this before the draft and just about everyone here laughed and said Iupat would never amount to much. i felt before the draft and still feel he will be one of the best guards in the nfl in 3 years tops. he can and probably will play tackel down the road. he has the size, speed and arm length to play LT. i like pouncey and think he can do well but i feel 18 was to high for a center. the only way he can justify going thar high is if he is a carear pro bowler. i also wouldnt mind taking Bulaga, Wilson or Odrick. i especially love Odrick and think he will be a great 3-4 DE and reminds me of Aaron Smith
