Geno also looks to be quite the artist. A painting for an auction to benefit libraries in his hometown in Russia.

I understand your desire for it, but it wasn't a pressing need like was for defense. The Pens were top 5 in scoring this past season with less than stellar wingers for both Geno and Sid...I think Shero did an excellent job spending the money where it was really needed, on defense.

Asham was a good, cheap pick up as well, and there has been talk of Staal moving up to 2nd line center with Malkin as his wing. That would be beast. And Sid doesn't need a high priced winger playing with him, he has a way of making cheap guys look really good. It would have been wasted money IMO.

i get that, and i wouldnt go get some high priced winger for Sid, but at least a decent one. Sid cant do it all himself.

Most likely it will be Kunitz and Dupuis...with a slight chance of Letestu or Tangradi (depending on how they do in preseason).

Nothing to be worried about...like I said, they were top 5 in scoring last year and none of the wingers ever got past 25 goals I don't think.
