I'm a huge LenDale White proponent. I believe he will be very successful in the NFL especially if he lands with a team like the Steelers that emphasize the run. I watched all of LenDale's college games. He is powerful, durable, agile and deceiving fast.

Pairing him with Willie would make our offense awfully dangerous. This obviously would also help out the receivers.

So the question is...what would that threat be worth??? I think plenty. I look at the draft board and I see 3 NFC teams in the 9-10-11 slot. And they don't seem to be inclined to draft a RB (Arizona in particular now that they have Edge).

I would dangle a couple draft picks out there especially since we are retaining the bulk of our free agents.

I agree, i would do what we had to in order to get White and in a year we can can Staley, save money on his contract and Parker /White would be a great combo to have. Since we dont have immediate needs at any of the starting positions, it would be great !! But , i dont see it happening and so i have to stick with the DEFENSE DEFENSE though with our first few picks at LB/OL .

As far as Willie goes... he had some good games, had some bad ones. We still dont know what his stamina is which is more the reason to possibly go after a big back. Our offenseive line will be the key to Parker's success. He will still need holes to open up in the middle, he isnt going to run anyone over.
