So did Wayne Huizinga (Marlins) and Mike Ilitch (Red Wings). Funny how they keep trying in the NFL and no one has really done it.

Having gone to the University of Washington during the Brunell (and National Championship!) years, I am a big fan of the guy. But I don't feel like you have to be an NFL insider to tell that his race appears to be run. I don't think he can take them all the way at this point in his carreer.

Sure, you could bring up Dilfer and the Ravens' championship, but Dilfer was playing better then than Brunell is capable of now IMO.

For Brunell's sake, I hope he proves me wrong and can make it all the way to teh NFC Championship where he'll have to lose to the Hawks

Plus he doesn't have the best defense in football like Dilfer had in Baltimore.

be careful. litp hates when you bring up the pats in every post. oh wait...this is litp.

anyways i bet this 4-skin fan still thinks deion sanders and bruce smith are going into the h.o.f. as a redskin. atleast gibbs has convinced snyder to buck the trend of signing older and more expensive guys to replace the old and overpaid guys currently under contract

I like Brunell to. I thought he was going to be a super star, but it didn't happen.

That was a whole lot of bluster from a fan of a team with one playoff appearance since 1999, and only the second since 1992.

I hated the Redskins when I lived in the Baltimore/DC area from 1988-1994. Time to start hating them again. They have sorry quarterbacking and will be looking up at the Iggles and Giants in 2006.

Yep. So did Wayne Huizenga when he owned the Florida Marlins.
