I wouldn't go that far BUT...

He's much improved this year.

He's moving in the right direction to be our franchise QB.

i wouldn't read to much into beating the clowns and carolina .... both will most likely be drafting in the top 10 next year.

Don't want to burst your bubble there buddy, but Vince Young and Matt Ryan are far better quarterbacks than Freeman any day of the week. The Steelers D harassed them to no end the first two games. Freeman is in for a shock because I seriously doubt he has any clue how to read the zone blitz defense that Lebeau is going to throw at him. He is going to be in for a miserable day. Write it down now.

I won't "write it down" per say... but I WILL save this post for after the game... and when Freeman repeatedly scores on your Steelers, I'll enjoy watching you eat crow.

now see, that would almost be funny and some good smack talk except the steelers have only drafted in the top 10 three times since bradshaw was taken #1 overall in 1970.

so what that means is that in the last 40 drafts, the steelers have twice as many lombardi trophies as top 10 picks.

thats great. (steelers will be drafting 25th-32nd this year )
