Darn Browns

They did it to us again...lol They went a week in front of us and beat a good team thus making it harder for us.

First the Saints, now the Patriots.

I think we can still pull it off but Belichick will be harder on his guys.

The Saints game was really us...we could have done it. Next week will be us too. We can beat the Pats and force them to two losses in a row.

...but first we have to get through the Bengals tonight.

So...do you think a good team losing the week before makes them harder to face?

no. i just think the browns are just playing that good right now. all season the pats defense has been shaky and the browns were able to exploit it with hillis. if your running back rushes for 180 yards, 99% of the time you win.

ever since the browns started colt mccoy, they have been playing inspired. this kid is the leader of their team and i think the browns will be a force next season. time to revive the steelers-browns rivalry.

Belichck usually has his team ready every week - it may be an unpleasant week of practice in Foxboro but I doubt the whuppin' the Browns put on the Pats will hav them any more geeked up on Sunday night

That's a bit much...but I do like Colt...too bad he went to the Browns.

I actually like our chances tonight better since we lost last week. I might be wrong but you get the feeling teams would focus more on what they are doing wrong and be serious about fixing deficiencies. Ya never know though. We did lose 5 in a row last year.

well maybe, but there's no doubt that they're a dangerous team at the moment, i definitely am not chalking up game 2 vs them as a gimmie.

though if they beat the jets next week, i think they're for real. if not, well, same old browns

Yes when we are talking about the Patriots. They don't lose back to back games very often.

If you don't think the Pats are going to be more focused this week, you're sadly mistaken.
They would try to focus on beating us regardless.....but after a clubbing from the Browns, it wouldnt' matter who they played this week. There would be additional adrenaline for the upcoming game.
I think we'll be fine as long as our secondary starts stepping up. If they don't, look out.

Players like Hills and Hood sit there wishing upon a star. They feel bad that they are back up. Well now is their opportunity. They both need to step up. This is what people dream about.

The Pats are going to be prepared regardless of what the browns did to them, They are playing the STEELERS for crap sakes, both teams have 6-2 records and the game could very well decide who plays at home the two meet in the playoffs.
If the Steelers players do their jobs and execute along the lines we will win the game no matter who beat the Cheaters last week!

Yes the Patriots will be very focused this week and I expect the same from the Steelers especially playing at home.
