Fantasy question… not sure if this is the right forum, sorry if it is not.
Who do you play tonight, Mike Wallace or Hines Ward? I’m down 29 points and have Mendenhall, Steelers D, and either Wallace or Ward at WR. I think Wallace is more likely to have a big point game, but Ward might be a safer bet for a solid 10-12 points. Cincy’s pass rush should not be as good as NO’s which could give Wallace more time to get deep, and more time for Ben to get it to him, although they probably have a better set of corners then NO. I expect Wallace to get a huge cushion at the line as well, so he could get some underneath receptions (maybe). Ward always seems to be lights out against Cincy, I remember many good games… if only he got points for breaking jaws!

Id go with mr. reliable Hines, he gets all the middle stuff. Wallace doesnt seem to get alot of those.

agree w/ hines, he's usually dependable whereas wallace either is a hit or miss. hines also has his biggest games against division opponents so i think he's the better bet

I'm in the same boat with the Wallace or Ward situation. I'm down 12.2 points. So I need 123 yards or a TD and 63 yards. I had Wallace at first, but have changed my pick to Ward. I think Wallace is all or nothing. If they don't hook up for a deep ball then I think you're done with Wallace. I also think if the Steelers take a 2 score lead, Wallace may not get a lot of balls thrown his way in the second half. With Hines, I just think you give yourself more chances. Hopefully 6-8 catches 90 yards and a TD.

Thanks guys, gonna stick with Ward. I'll take a Steelers win over fantasy any day, hopefully that win will come via a few td's to Ward:-)

Damn. I would have won my game had I gone with Wallace. Need 13 yds and another Ward TD now.

Went with both, as I had to many on bye weeks. But been going with Wallace all year so far.
Need to start both this week as well, however, I think both will have good games on the PATS. If they can start coming back when Ben is under pressure they may get some more catches. They continue to not look back. |
