Causing fumbles always seemed like kind of an arbitrary stat to me. A lot of chance involved. Being in the right place at the right time and having a little luck involved. Looking at the consistency that James Harrison displays in causing fumbles has changed my opinion on this stat. Forcing fumbles is an art and Harrison has mastered the task. Here are his totals and league rank in forced fumbles for the last 4 seasons.
