Steelers' Keisel in line to play Sunday against Ravens

Brett Keisel appears ready to get back on the field, while Troy Polamalu is still a question mark. Keisel participated in a full practice Wednesday and is expected to be back on the field Sunday against Baltimore, while Polamalu sat out with an ankle injury. Keisel has missed five of the past six games with a hamstring injury. He did play four weeks ago in Cincinnati but managed to play only a couple of snaps before aggravating the injury.

Tackle Flozell Adams (back), cornerback Bryant McFadden (hamstring) and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (foot) all were limited in practice. For Baltimore, left tackle Michael Oher (knee) was a full participant, while running back Le'Ron McClain (ankle) was out, and safety Dawan Landry (head) was limited.

For the second time this year, defensive end Nick Eason was victim of friendly fire. Eason said yesterday that he will get a better gauge of where his injured right ankle/knee is at by the end of the week and if he will be able to play Sunday night against the Ravens. Eason tweaked his ankle and knee when teammate James Harrison rolled up on his leg during last week's Buffalo game. Eason also injured his ankle during a Week 6 game against Cleveland when Aaron Smith rolled on his leg. Eason started for the injured Keisel the next week in Miami.

The Steelers have been called for 10 holding penalties over the past two games and now have 23 for the season. Against Buffalo, they were called for five holding penalties, while the Bills weren't called for any. However, the doesn't mean the Bills weren't holding. A poster-sized framed photo leading toward the Steelers locker room shows Buffalo tackle Demetrius Bell grabbing Harrison's jersey. "They can't see me getting held, but they can call me for other things," Harrison said.

Not sure how many more injuries we overcome. We need to start getting healthy soon!

as per the league office, harrison is "too short" to be held; however atleast 2 of the flags on kemo were for what is done to james almost every time he comes off the edge.

it will be great to get keisel back (if hes 100%) and turn some of the many near misses into sacks/turnovers/failed 3rd down conversions.

Good to hear that Keisel is doing better...worried about Troy though. Last thing they need is him going down at this time of the year. Hope it's not too serious.

its not. its the same thing he was dealing with last week.

tomlin says he is a veteran who doesnt really need the practice and they are being precautious and keeping him fresh for the long haul.

Tony- I saw the same thing about Troy. There seemed to be more concern about Ben

Big ups to see Keisel coming back. I hope we could see Smith out there with him soon!
