Steelers: Ben's foot not broken!
PITTSBURGH _ The Steelers refuted a published report that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a broken bone in his right foot.
Roethlisberger was injured this past Sunday in a win in Buffalo. The Steelers have been calling the injury a sprained foot.
In response to inquiries about Roethlisberger having a broken foot, Steelers spokesperson Dave Lockett said “There is no new fracture in Ben’s foot. Ben’s current injury is an aggravation of an old injury where scar tissue is present.”
For the past two days, Roethlisberger has practiced with the Steelers on a limited basis.
He said he will start Sunday night in Baltimore when the Steelers (8-3) play the Ravens (8-3) in an AFC North Division showdown.
