Hey, Amb, looks like Dom's annual "Birthday preseason game where we end up so drunk by the 3rd quarter we don't remember the second half of the meaningless preseason game" game will be against Minnesota this year.

I compeletely agree with you man, I loved the way we destroyed them on that game even though it was preseason. Dont forget the punt return for a TD after the Eagles went 3 and out after the INT.

I haven't been to one of Dom's Preseason Game/Birthday blasts before. Sounds like a good reason to attend the first one this year.

The Steelers used to scrimmage and play the Redskins almost every preseason for years. I remember the 1993 scrimmage in Carlisle, PA. There were more Steeler fans than Redskin fans in Carlisle Stadium. The PA announcer made some rude remark and was loudly booed.

Dan Rooney wanted to maintain the traditional old rivalries the Steelers had with the Giants, Eagles and Redskins after the AFL-NFL merger. So, Pittsburgh frequently gets the Original Philly Ratbirds and the Deadskins in preseason games.

Most NFL teams do this...the Browns have multiple scrimmages with the Bills, because of the close proximity...makes sense, really.
