York Haven boy gets dream granted, attends Steelers game

It was 11-year-old Sean Brame's dream to see the Pittsburgh Steelers play at Heinz Field.

The York Haven boy became a multiple amputee 5 years ago after a sports injury left him with sepsis, a life-threatening condition.

Now, Brame can say he lived the dream with help from Hershey's Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central PA. He attended the Steelers vs. Carolina Panthers game on Dec. 23.

An anonymous donor bought two Steelers tickets - one for Brame and his brother, Patrick - at the organization's annual Moonlight Gala and Silent Auction on Dec. 17. Brame was a guest speaker at the auction.

Prime Tickets Pittsburgh gave the Brame boys two official Steelers jerseys after learning about Sean's condition. They also donated an extra ticket so the boys' father, Michael, could accompany them at the game.

That's awesome! What's even better is knowing that he got to see the Steelers at their best!

It's a shame the poor kid has had to endure what he has. This is a great gesture on the part of a GREAT, GREAT STEELERS FAN! Now who says there's no Santa Claus!
