Default Assault at Conference Championship game

Hello All,

I'm very new here, as you can see from my posts. I just wanted to share a ridiculous story I witnessed Sun. night at the game.

I went to Guest Services(I'm a longtime season tix holder and g/f is preggo) to see if they was any openings in the wheelchair area for my g/f to sit. She couldn't fit in the regular seat bundled up and preggo - lol,

Anyway, a woman in front of me(Jets hat/Giants jacket) is going nuts yelling at everyone in the Guest Services booth. It turns out she was hit in the nose w/ a Terrible Towel and it started bleeding. She asked the person that hit her to stop twirling their towel around(are you ****in' kidding me) and the person obviously refused - duh. She then gets offered paramedics to treat her nose. She turns down the paramedics and says she wants the Pitt. PD cuz she wants to file assault charges against the person that hit her w/ their towel.

UNREAL.

I remember when I was in Dallas in 04...the guy next to me was a Cowboys fan...and the dude in front him was a Steelers fan...the dude in front was waving the towel...it actually caught the Dallas fan next to me once in the head...Dallas fan looked all pissed off...I was in my Bradshaw Jersey, Wife was wearing the Bettis. Anyway, I leaned forward, tapped the Steelers fan on the shoulder and said "Dude...you're hitting people...have some class" He apologized a few times to the Dallas fan, Dallas fan thanked me...and we were good for the rest of the game. Even though I kept yelling "HEY VINNY!" Through the entire game, until Vinny did in fact Fumble and cost the Cowboys the game. Yeah...that was a good day.

Yikes, blood to go with those tears.

Hope she didn't get any blood on the towel. :P

In seriousness though, that's completely silly. She should've just sucked it up and got some kleenex and continue to watch the game like an adult. Granted probably in that situation she was so upset that the only way to vent the frustration was to make a scene.
